Cars with factory electronic damping systems like Magneride, PASM, or EDC require specific consideration. BC Racing coilovers do not pair with or interface with OEM electronic damping. Customers have two paths. First, the ASP Series is engineered to work with the factory electronic damper intact. ASP replaces the springs with adjustable spring perches and lowering springs. The OEM electronic damper stays connected and functional. This is the right path when keeping the factory ride character matters. Second, customers who want full BC Racing coilover adjustability typically need a third-party electronic-damping cancellation kit. The cancellation kit removes warning lights and error messages once the factory damper is disconnected. Coilovers.com does not sell these cancellation kits; the customer sources them separately.
